First, I must appologize for not posting yesterday. My computer at work lost all its automatic logins and so I was busy relogging into everything. When I got to Townhall, my login would not work. It always sent me to an error page. I was never able to login. When I got home, I just had dinner, put my granddaughter to bed and went to bed myself.
I read today that Secretary of State Rice is going to go to the Mideast again. Her first trip was masterful. It bought Israel time from the idiots that run the countries in Europe. In this trip, I hope she is even more successful than the last. In that she gives Israel all the time it needs to completely destroy Hezbollah as a terrorist organization.
There was an article yesterday, from Dick Morris. In the article, he outlined the response, or lack thereof, by Bill Clinton in the last fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon. He said that Bill Clinton basically did nothing to help Israel when the usual suspects came out of their holes and cried about Israel killing terrorists. As a result, there was a cease fire which led to the conflict today.
Dick Morris sums up his article by saying that is the difference between a Democrat and a Republican President. A Republican will stand with our allies and be counted. A Democrat will put a finger up into the wind and determine which way the wind is blowing. They will then come out whichever way is loudest. In foreign affairs, it is always against the United States and our allies. The logical conclusion is that we should never trust a Democrat with the Presidency, or even control of congress, until they get serious with national security.
National security is a game for the Democrats. When it suits their purposes, get elected, they are serious about national security even to absurditity. At any other time, national security is put on a back burner to their goal of making the United States a socialist country with the government controlling everything. At this time we cannot say they would be communist. They do allow elections.
Democrats cry foul whenever they lose an election. They claim voter fraud has occurred in their claims of foul play. I believe that they are accurate in making the claim. For the past few election cycles every person discovered actually committing election fraud has been a Democrat. Never get into a recount with a Democrat, especially in a county controlled by a Democrat. They will try anything to get more votes for their Democrat and try anything to supress votes for the Republican. That was put on display in Palm Beach County, Florida in 2000.
