Yesterday, there was a shooting at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. It was done by an 88 year old man who was filled with hate. He was a white supremacist. That makes a number of hate killings in the past few weeks. In the ones that were supposedly done by conservatives or conservative leaning killers, the left has demanded that the right state that they detest such killings. Those statements are forthcoming from the leaders of all conservative groups. When the killings were done by those with supposed liberal leaning ideologies there has been universal silence from liberal groups. Why is that?

Here in the Phoenix area, the Mayor of Phoenix had to step into the controversy by denouncing the killing. That is just fine as far as it goes. I abhor this killing and any other killing. But, the mayor had to add something to his statement that was completely uncalled for. He called on the Sheriff of Maricopa County, Joe Arpaio, to denounce the killing. Again, that is just fine as far as it goes. But again, the mayor had to add something to his statement. He went on to say that Joe Arpaio had been consorting with white supremacists in the past and had his picture taken with them, thereby implying that Joe Arpaio supports the white supremacist movement. Joe Arpaio does not support the white supremacists. He has arrested them on numerous times in the past. Joe has denounced their philosophy and their tactics on numerous occasions in the past. Evidently Phil Gordon (Mayor of Phoenix) does not have a memory that goes back that far. What Phil Gordon is trying to do with the statement is paint Joe Arpaio with the brush of the white supremacist movement. If he can do that, he might be able to stop Joe Arpaio from rounding up illegal aliens and prosecuting them for breaking the laws of Arizona. That is a disgusting display of idiocy from a politician. Unfortunately, it is par for the course for a Democrat these days.

Killings by supposed right wing nut jobs have been on the abortion doctor and the Holocaust Museum. All Right-to-Life organizations have denounced the killing of the abortion doctor. All prominent conservatives have denounced the killing of the abortion doctor. The killing of the guard at the Holocaust Museum was only yesterday, so denunciation of the killing will take time.

Killings by supposed left wing nut jobs include the Muslim killings of the soldiers outside the recruiting station in Arkansas. If anyone, other than conservatives, has denounced these killings I am not aware of that statement. Of course, there is a caveat to this killing. If you denounce a killing by a Muslim, you might be subject to a killing yourself as defaming Islam. That might be true, even if the denunciation is justified. So, most people will keep quiet about killings by Muslims. They will also keep silent about other atrocities by Muslims for the same reason. In that way, Muslims gain power over large portions of the population. You have to stand up to radical Muslims if you ever expect to keep the country.

This uneven outrage is common in every situation. Conservatives will express outrage over any incident that requires it. Liberals will shout that conservatives need to show outrage when then perceive that conservatives need to show outrage. Liberals never show outrage in any situation, except when a perceived conservative does something. Then their outrage is not with the act, it is with the conservatives. It shows what their agenda is. Their agenda does not care what someone does, they just want everyone to think and act alike. Anyone who does not is dangerous.

You can examine any situation and see this uneven response. If a prominent conservative does something wrong, conservatives will take responsibility and remove that person. If a prominent liberal does something wrong, liberals rally around that person and demand that conservatives retract their defamatory statements against this liberal. They then put this liberal that did something wrong into a place of power and authority. The more you do wrong, the higher you go in the new Democrat party. There was a time when Democrats had standards of behavior like conservatives. Now, the situation has changed. Democrats only have standards of behavior for Republicans and conservatives. They have no standards of behavior for themselves. That is one major reason our country is in the fix it is currently in.

Yesterday, I came into work later than usual. That made it possible to listen to Rush Limbaugh. Mark Belling was sitting in for Rush and he made a good point. He said that there were only two kinds of liberals that he has met, but there were three kinds. There were the hypocrites, the crazies and the true believers.

The hypocrite group of liberals is obviously the largest group of liberals. These are the ones that say that our taxes should go up and do not pay all their taxes. This is proudly on display in the confirmation hearings. Either Obama cannot find any liberals who actually pay all their taxes or he does not want to find any liberals that actually pay all their taxes. This group constantly tells us what WE should do. We should do this restriction on OUR liberty or that restriction on our liberty. BUT, they are not accountable to the same rules as the rest of us. Al Gore comes to mind here, he says we all should reduce our “carbon footprint”. Then has a carbon footprint larger in one month than anyone else in a year. Al Gore says we should drive little cars that are unsafe to reduce that carbon footprint. Then he flies around on private jets and rides in limos. We see this kind of liberal all the time in Washington, D.C.

The second group of liberals is the crazy group. This group is always protesting and telling us what to do. They have no tolerance for others or any positions other than their own. These are the ones that burn down houses because they believe that the houses should not be in that area. These are the ones that damage cars that they do not like. These are the protesters that get arrested over some idea. This group is not nearly as large as the hypocrite group, but it makes a lot more noise.

The third group of liberals is the true believer group. This group is quite small. Mark Belling said he has never met a member of this particular group. I have met some of them. I would almost label them crazies, but they do no protesting. This is the type that gets rid of a refrigerator to reduce their carbon footprint like a family did in Ontario, Canada. In my experience, it is the wife that is the “true believer” and the husband goes along because he knows what is best for him and his family. The reason I say that is because whenever you talk to a true believer, the woman is always the more vocal one. At least that has been my experience with true believers. It also seems so when you read news accounts of true believers.

Now that we know the three groups, how large is each one? The next number is a guess, an educated guess, but a guess. I expect that about 85% of all liberals fall into the hypocrite group. I estimate that about 10% fall into the crazy group and 5% fall into the true believer group. If you confront a liberal, all will claim to be part of the true believer group. You have to look at what they say and do to understand which group they fall into.

For example, if they are always talking about what someone else should do and never about what they should do, they fall into the hypocrite group. The protesters are easy to identify as they let you know it. The true believers are quiet about their true belief. They just act and generally do not say. You have to catch them in unguarded moments to find out if they are part of the true believer group. A true believer either rides public transportation or drives a tin can with a motor. A hypocrite drives a regular car or an SUV. That is why it is so easy to identify which group they really belong to.

What about Barack Hussein Obama? Which kind of liberal is he? Well, he keeps the White House temperature extremely warm since he has been there. He tells us to turn our thermostats down to conserve and reduce our carbon footprint. There are some things he cannot control. He has to ride in limos and fly helicopters and Air Force One. That is just part of being President. But the things he can control, he has shown that he is firmly in the hypocrite category. He is anything but a true believer.

I hope this primer on liberals has been helpful. My estimate on hypocrite liberals may have been low. My estimate on protesting liberals may have been a little high. But, I believe the point is well made that the vast majority of liberals fall into the hypocrite category. Obama’s cabinet picks have shown that to be the case. The vast majority have had real problems following the law. If they were Republicans they would have been disqualified from the start. But, as Democrats we are losing valuable people to honest mistakes according to the news media. What balderdash, Democrats should have to follow the same rules as Republicans and have the same standards. That the standard for a Democrat is lower than that for a Republican is telling. The fact that we are willing to accept a lower standard of morality from a Democrat than we would accept from a Republican says that Democrats are less moral, generally, than Republicans. I am not talking individually, but as a group. That is because Republicans have standards and hold their members to those standards. Democrats have no standards to hold anyone to.
